Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) President Richard Ngatia would emerged the winner in the Nairobi Gubernatorial if elections were held today.
According to an opinion survey done by Mizani Africa, Ngatia is leading the race by 29.2 % in popularity followed by his closest competitor from UDA party Bishop Margaret Wanjiru who would gunner 24.1%.
Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi came in third with 19.1 per cent while Nairobi senator Johnstone Sakaja would be in fourth position with 10.7%
The ODM party still remain the party of choice for majority of people in Nairobi County with an approval rate of 46.3% followed by UDA Party which has a popularity of 34.6%.
At the same time ODM presidential candidate Raila Odinga Still Enjoy a massive support from the city with a popularity of 42.1% while Deputy President Dr william Ruto’s approval would stand at 31.4%
In the senatorial race, Orange Democratic Movement Party Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna was the preferred candidate with 39.1 per cent.
The survey was done between January 5 to 12 this year across the 17 sub counties and involves 2500 eligible voters and was done on a face to face interviews at the household levels.
The margin of error of the survey is +/- 3 with a confidence level of 95 percent.
