Chebukati organized a secret meeting with me in Karen and Demanded Kes 3Billion- Tuju

Chebukati: Former Jubilee party secretary Raphael Tuju has revealed he had a secret meeting with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairperson Wafula Chebukati.

He was responding to Chebukati’s accusations that he wanted the presidential results to be moderated in favour of Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

Speaking to the press on Sunday, Tuju said that Chebukati should tell Kenyans the details of their secret meeting also.

“I want Chebukati to explain to Kenyans why he came to a secret location in Karen to meet with me and what was the discussion about,” he said.

The former Jubilee SG says the meeting was convened by  Chebukati.

Tuju explained that he met Chebukati to address issues raised in the process of tallying the presidential votes, and not to ask him to favour Raila.

He also divulged  that IEBC commissioners Abdi Guliye and Molu Boya also visited him at his house in Karen.

He termed the discussion they had with the commissioners as more of with ‘auctioneers’ rather than commissioners.

Tuju said that he is willing to present CCTV cameras from his house in the event the commissioners deny the allegations.

“I want them to say they never came to my house I will take the CCTV to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)  incase they say they never came to my house,  because to my house they came,” Tuju said
