JACQUE MARIBE 730x414 1

Since The murder of Monica Kimani, my life has never been the same again, I want to be left alone, I can’t do this anymore – Jacque Maribe tells Kenyans

Former Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe has implored on Kenyans to leave her alone. Maribe’s post comes in the backdrop of a back-and-forth with her baby daddy Eric Omondi.

“This is the last statement I’ll make about this never-ending story. I want to be left alone. We overreacted. We might have been overwhelmed. Each of us will own our truths. There’s a child involved so let’s respect him. I can’t do this anymore,” she posted.

Maribe, who had accused Eric Omondi of failing to take up his fatherly responsibilities, became subject to online attacks after she was captured appearing drunk during a meeting with her comedian baby daddy.

The two had met at an undisclosed location to strike a chord after they exchanged barbs on social media. The meeting was convened by popular businessman Simon Kabu.

Kabu said that he was prompted to call for the truce after Eric Omondi’s Instagram post that he claims aired the co-parent’s dirty linen.

In the post, the comedian stated that he was not sure whether he fathered the journalist’s son. He claimed that his numerous calls for a DNA test fell on deaf ears and that is why he is reluctant to play his roles as the father of Maribe’s son.
